Abstract

Provides a procedure for the extraction and recovery of asphalt binder from asphalt mixtures [both hot mix asphalt (HMA) and reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP)] that have a minimal effect on the physical and chemical properties of the asphalt binder recovered.
