Abstract

Presents the findings of a 14-day study tour examining innovative asphalt paving techniques in Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden and the United Kingdom. This project was a joint effort of AASHTO, the Federal Highway Administration, the National Asphalt Pavement Association, the Strategic Highway Research Program, The Asphalt Institute, and the Transportation Research Board.
