Abstract

The REGS Implementation Guideline contains industry conventions for using the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) ASC X12 transaction sets to transmit regulatory reports to agencies. This encompasses all the regulatory reporting through the life of a well from drilling to production and sales. Numerous government agencies have standardized and encompassed similar regulatory reports into these industry conventions. The publication contains the Report of Test Results (863) Transaction Set based on version/release 3040; the Royalty Regulatory Report (185) Invoice (810) Product Transfer and Resale Report (867).
