Abstract

Specifies the toxicity of toluene on the pregnant rat as well as on the developing fetus. Pregnant rats were exposed to 250, 750, 1,500, and 3,000 ppm toluene via inhalation for 6 hours a day from days 6 to 15 of pregnancy. Control rats were exposed to filtered air for the same length of time.
