Abstract

Presents a set of 10 papers on light nonaqueous phase liquids (LNAPLs) in low permeability soils. Collectively, the papers address four key areas: (1) processes affecting the migration and removal of LNAPLs; (2) exposure potential posed by clay soil and hydrocarbons via soil, groundwater, and air pathways; (3) models for predicting LNAPL removal; and (4) techniques of remediation.
