Abstract

Specifies minimum energy performance standards (MEPS) for single output voltage external supply units and an energy marking system.

Scope

This Standard specifies minimum energy performance standard (MEPS) requirements for single output external power supplies with an output power up to 250 W (see definition in AS/NZS 4665.1:2005).
This Standard further specifies the following:
(a) Efficiency determination.
(b) Definition of high efficiency units.
(c) Test report format.
