Scope

This Standard specifies requirements for machine-made, basic refractory bricks. This Standard deals with—
(a) classification in terms of composition and type of bonding;
(b) dimensional tolerances;
(c) texture and surface appearance; and
(d) permanent dimensional change after heating.
