Scope

This Standard sets out a method for sampling paints and related materials within the
following classifications.
(a) Group A: prepared paints.
(b) Group B: paste paints and pigment pastes.
(c) Group C: powder paints and dry pigments.
(d) Group D: liquids.
NOTE: For in-process sampling, AS 1580.102.2 is appropriate.
