Scope

1.1 General
This Standard specifies requirements for two sizes of threaded hose connection fittings (50 mm and 63.5 mm) for use on equipment used for handling bituminous materials.
1.2 Purpose and application
This Standard sets out dimensions and specifies requirements for materials, testing and marking.
NOTE: To apply this Standard, it is necessary to acquire further information and dimensions for the hose, to which the fitting will be attached, i.e. diameter and pitch of helix winding.
