Abstract

Specifies stability requirements for chairs of fixed height and either fixed or swivel bases, in order to provide purchasing authorities, specificers, users, retailers and manufacturers with a uniform set of performance requirements that can form the basis of selection and evaluation criteria. This Standard is identical with and has been reproduced from ISO 7174-1:1988.
