Abstract

Specifies requirements for wire-rope grips for non-lifting applications that are used with steel-wire ropes having a diameter of not less than 8 mm. Information that should be supplied with enquiries and orders is given in an appendix.

Scope

This Standard specifies requirements for wire-rope grips for non-lifting applications that are used with steel-wire ropes having a diameter of not less than 8 mm.
