Abstract

Specifies performance and labelling requirements for corrosion inhibition products (commonly known as rust-proofing products) which are intended for application to fully assembled new or used motor vehicles. In particular, it relates to products which are intended to inhibit rust forming in concealed areas, and/or exposed areas of a motor vehicle.

Scope

This standard specifies performance requirements for corrosion inhibition products intended for application to motor vehicles.
NOTE: Corrosion inhibition products are commonly known as rust-proofing products.
