Abstract

Presents recommended practices and criteria for evaluating resistance spot welds typical of automotive sheet steel applications. Contains weld characteristics, metrics and testing methods useful in evaluating spot welding quality on coated and uncoated automotive sheet steels of all strength levels and compositions.
