Abstract

Defines the cable access network, and progressive network access architectures that reduce the network energy consumption and the metrics required to benchmark the network and its components to support and enable the proper implementation of services, applications and content on an energy efficient infrastructure and describe measures that may improve the energy efficiency of cable access networks.
