Abstract

Describes the minimum requirements for maritime Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons (EPIRBs) operating on certain frequencies, and incorporates the relevant provisions of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) radio regulations and the relevant standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
