Abstract

Defines the minimum technical characteristics required for VHF radiotelephone equipment, operating in the bands between 156 MHz and 174 MHz allocated to the Maritime Mobile Services and suitable for fixed installations in survival craft in accordance with the provisions of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS).
