Abstract

This standard is part of a set of specifications (see TR 101 673 [47]) defining the network-to-network interface to enable service interoperability between ATM networks. It specifies an interface for the transfer of user information and connection control for interoperable ATM services. This interface, for which hereafter the term "NNI.easi interface" will be used, allows for the interconnection of ATM networks in order to provide ATM based services also across network boundaries.
