Abstract

Provides the detailed requirements for the correct operation of the background acoustic noise evaluation, noise parameter encoding/decoding and comfort noise generation in GSM Mobile Stations and Base Station Systems during Discontinuous Transmission (DTX) on full rate speech traffic channels.
