History
Describes private wide area paging system which provides flexibility, versatility and speed of an on-site paging system but covering a wider area. On-site paging systems with extended free field range is achieved by using a higher transmitter power and antenna location, as well as using a specified receiver sensitivity. The system works in a high band VHF or UHF frequency range. Other standards/specifications may be required for the equipment that is intended to interface to the PSTN.
