Abstract

Specifies the technical characteristics particular to telephony applications provided by terminal equipment that is capable of connection to a public telecommunications network and which uses DECT cordless communications. Applies to simple telephony terminals as well as to the telephony function of multi-function or multi-service terminals. Includes the speech quality and transmission requirements for a 3,1 kHz telephony teleservice. Does not apply to terminal equipment specially designed for the disabled. This issue to update TBR 10 based upon EN 300 176-2 which adds optional 4-level and 8-level modulation schemes to provide 2Mbit/s services.
