Covers the stage 1 description of the Voice Broadcast Service (VBS) which will allow distribution of speech (or other signals which can be transmitted via the speech codec), generated by a service subscriber, into a predefined geographical area to all or groups of service subscribers that are located within this area. This document does not cover the Man-Machine interface requirements, but mentions the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) specifications. Defines a teleservice of digital cellular telecommunication system GSM. This issue subject: Clarification of what action to take if the MS active in a VBS is leaving the VBS area.
