Abstract

Applies to frequency modulation (FM) audio recording fully compatible with the VHS system which is defined in IEC 60774-1. The aim of this standard is to define the mechanical and electrical characteristics of FM audio recording which provides for the interchangeability of recorded cassettes. Related to 525 line-60 field and 625 line-50 filed systems.
