Abstract

Specifies the requirements for non-heat-shrinkable sleeving, extruded from compounds that are based on fluorosilicone rubber. This type of sleeving is normally available with internal diameters up to 25 mm, and in a range of different wall thicknesses between 0,1 mm and 2,0 mm. National standards may select a restricted list of preferred combinations of internal diameter and wall thickness. As well as being available in colourless translucent/transparent form, these sleevings are also available in a selection of opaque colours.
