Abstract

Applicable to waveguides which can propagate two orthogonal polarizations of the same waveguide mode. It includes three test procedures: measurement procedure for the decoupling, defined as the orthogonally polarized signal level; measurement procedure for the generated cross-polarized level; measurement procedure for establishing the effective angle of rotation of the electric field in the waveguide under test.
